Dr. Hong Jeong, M.D.
Dr. Jeong attended University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida receiving his undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Chemistry. He received his medical education at University of South Florida in Tampa. Upon graduation, Dr. Jeong went on to completed his medical residency in internal medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He remained at Virginia Commonwealth University, Pauley Heart Center to specialize through two fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Jeong performs wide variety of hospital and office based services and procedures. These include coronary artery and peripheral vascular procedures, such as angioplaty, atherectomy, and stents. Dr. Jeong also performs implantation of pacemaker, automated implantable cardioverter-defibrillator, transesophageal echocardiogram, cardioversion, and nuclear stress test. Dr. Jeong takes particular interest in treatment of venous conditions including treatment of varicose veins and venous insufficiency.
Dr. Jeong is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine. He also holds board certification in Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Computer Tomography. ​

Danielle McDonough, DNP,APRN, FNP-BC
Danielle graduated from nursing school in 1989. Her nursing experience includes cardiovascular ICU, cardiac Cath Lab and several states. After 20 years of hospital bedside nursing, Danielle returned to school for her nurse practitioner degree and doctorate in nursing practice from the University of Central Florida. Danielle's experience brings wealth of knowledge to our practice. Danielle focuses on patient centered care.
Danielle is lived in Brevard County for nearly 20 years with her husband and 3 kids. She loves to travel, canoe, and hike.

Christina Whitlock, R.N.
Christina Herrero Whitlock, R.N. has a wealth of experience caring for patients over the last 7 years. She came to Viera Heart and Vascular Clinic after spending years caring for hospice patients and working with patients that have cardiac and vascular disease. She has nearly three years of vascular experience assisting with surgical procedures and performing all cosmetic treatments including injections and laser. She has educated physicians and nurses on injections and the other cosmetic treatments performed in a vein clinic. Christi has also been a licensed esthetician for over 20 years performing a variety of cosmetic procedures. She has incorporated her passion for this into the cosmetic side of the vein practice.
Christi believes in a patient-centered approach and provides excellent care at our practice. Christi is able to help diagnose, treat and educate patients on a variety of lower extremity venous diseases. With her background in surgical sub-specialties, she works together with Dr. Hong Jeong in performing the most up-to-date clinical procedures to effectively treat venous insufficiency.
In her leisure time, Christi loves to spend time with her family and friends experiencing wonderful food and traveling.
